 The ace makeup artist, Smily Shihn, started her glorious journey in make-up artistry and hair styling under Ms Samantha Kochhar, at PIVOT POINT, New Delhi. Her zeal to learn and get better led her to numerous make-up & hair workshops with Kori Waliya , Natures , L’oreal& othersnumerous make-up & hair workshops with Kori Waliya , Natures , L’oreal& others. This was not the end of her learning zest; she further went to London for an NVQ Level 2 course certified by the City & Guilds International, London. She also went to Mumbai for a course in advanced make-up artistry at PANKAKE under the expert guidance of Puneet (former National Head Trainer of MAC, India and personal Makeup Artist of Anushka Sharma). Since her work’s first true professional recognition, when she was awarded with the 2009-Pan India MAGIC HANDS AWARD from VLCC Healthcare Ltd. for the best make-up artist & hair stylist, she has never looked back and her clients have never gone home without looking at their best. Her learning spree in Mumbai gave her the wings to fly where she landed numerous ramp makeups, fashion shoots, portfolio shoots and bridal makeups opportunities. She has always been bent towards the art of makeup and her true dedication towards this field has created a niche for her in this industry.
