Hotel Rockland

Convenient Location and Friendly Staff I was in Delhi for two days for a business purpose. This location was very convenient and staff was friendly. They upgraded me to suite room, room was decent and had good internet connection. Overall recommended.

It was our first time at this hotel, we checked in a for a day on transit of our journey. The staff was courteous and was overall a good experience. However, while checking in, we handed over our passports as written on their website for address and identity proof, our passports state Delhi addresses, the way the receptionist questioned purpose of stay was bit unwelcoming, it spoiled the first impression of the hotel. We had to explain the whole story that we have train reservation late evening, coming from a long journey, we have to spend a day to hotel etc. You can ask your guest in more polite manner. Then it is hospitality business, whoever is coming to your hotel might have stayed at many other places too. People do get the sense by the way question is put up. It did spoil our mood at first to be honest. Other staff had to intervene to say that it was alright.

Very good hotel. The hotel is located on the main road which is very good. About the service it was very good and food was okay as per the hotel rate. Overall happy about the stay and service. Value for money.
