It’s mandatory for a bride to look pretty. But looking pretty doesn’t only mean decking up your face and lies in taking care of your hygiene levels too. In simple terms taking care of your hygiene means to do basic everyday things. But don’t forget to get a manicure and pedicure done to remove the dead skin from your hands and feet.
You must be aware that a good manicure and pedicure does wonders to your skin. Along with removing dead skin and cuticles, it helps you get good blood circulation. Let’s talk about some appealing therapies to keep your skin supple and soft.
Paraffin Manicure: Paraffin manicure gets its name from paraffin wax. In this process your hands are submerged in paraffin wax to provide you that immediate relief from any sort of damage. As the wax is oily it immediately hydrates your skin. One speciality of this manicure is that it takes care of nurturing the complete hand as a whole. Bharati Taneja, Director, Alps Clinic and Academy says, “A Paraffin manicure nourishes and moisturises the skin of your hands, as it helps in reducing their dryness and making them smooth and supple. It also helps in reducing fine lines, wrinkles and cracks.”
Hot Stone Manicure: A hot stone manicure is a way to feel rejuvenated with the use of hot basalt stones. These stones have healing properties and the manicure works on providing arthritic relief and soothing of tired hands. The warm stones provide relaxation and easing of the muscle tension to make you feel completely relaxed. Make sure you get this treatment done by a trained therapist so as to get good results.
French Pedicure: French pedicure is a well known pedicure suitable for all age groups and occasions. It’s the classic combination of two nail paints giving you that chic look. After the process of cuticle removal and a relaxing massage a coat of light pink, light beige or light peach base nail paint is applied. This coat is complemented with a white coloured nail polish on the tip of the nails. Bollywood Makeup Expert Puja Taluja says,”A French pedicure is designed to resemble natural nails and is a classy look for women of all ages.”
Spa Pedicure: A spa pedicure is a complete spa experience for your feet. It’s a deluxe pedicure which at times includes things like aromatic salt rub, hydrating mask, hot towel wrap, foot reflexology, hot stone massage or paraffin dip. It’s a luxurious treatment given to your feet in the atmosphere of utmost lavishness. With pleasant lighting, soothing décor and fine music, it’s something that will make you experience divine bliss.
